Sox Fall in Series Opener, Penguins Take 2-0 Lead, Immelman Leads At The Masters

In an eventful day of sports, the Yankees and Red Sox squared off in the series opener at Fenway.  Clay Buchholz pitched 6 innings, keeping the Yankees at bay.  However the Sox managed only 2 hits behind him, including a J.D. Drew homer.  The Sox ultimately fell to the Yankees 4-1.  The middle game of the 3 game series will take place Saturday.

In other news the Pittsburgh Penguins took a 2-0 series lead against the Ottawa Senators in NHL Playoffs.  The Pens won 5-3, getting goals from Sergei Gonchar, Petr Sykora (2), and Ryan Malone (2).

Trevor Immelman leads the Masters after the second round action Friday.  Shooting a four under par, Immelman is now -8 for the tournament.  Other notables: Phil Mickelson is tied for 3rd with a score of five under.  Tiger Woods is at 13th with a score of one under par.
